Training you for a career in the airline, travel and tourism industries

All ITC courses provide training in the technical skills required in the airline, travel and tourism industries. Programmes are an ideal combination of travel and tourism units, communications and selling skills, and essential computing subjects.

The College uses an excellent mix of student-centred and accelerated learning techniques. Classes are complemented by field trips, industry speakers and practical workshops. A key feature of all courses is the integration of computing into the learning.

Employers need staff who are skilled in computing, so you`ll find that word processing, spreadsheets, database, powerpoint and internet skills are included in all courses.

Computer based training ensures that students achieve high levels of competency in these software applications.

Training in TWO computerised reservations systems builds skill in both GALILEO and SABRE, the most commonly used systems in use around the world.

Students have easy access to computer/internet labs outside of class time. The College has three computer/internet labs which are online throughout the College day. There is no additional charge for use of internet and e mail facilites.

Another highlight is the Field Trips! This is a chance to sample travel and tourism products and check-out suppliers, and it's an excellent way for your class to bond!! All costs are covered by the College - a great to work to meet people in the industry and get an idea of what it is like to work in the exciting world of travel and tourism l!

All ITC course include practical strategies to help students make the transition from study to employment. A unique benefit offered to ITC students is the help and support provided by our dedicated Careers Tutors. The Careers Tutors will work with you to ensure you are prepared for the world of work and have introductions, referrals, even the chance to try out some work experience before you start work!

Auckland City Campus
The International Travel College Head Office and City Campus is located in the heart of Auckland's academic area, close to the University, libraries, shops and cafes, with close access to car parking and public transport. Spacious and bright training rooms provide a pleasant and professional study environment. Computer labs are well equipped with free internet access and up to date technology and software programs. Botany Town Centre Campus
Located in the main BOTANY TOWN CENTRE mall, with free parking and excellent bus routes, this is a great place to study! Facilities are excellent, with computer labs, lovely student lounge with open-air decks and shopping, cafes, cinemas and library all within a 2 minute walk.

These campuses are very popular so you'll need to enrol early!

Fun at The International Travel College!

Living and studying in the City of Sails provides our students with a great opportunity to sample some of the fun events and activities in and around the city.

Our tutorial staff work in partnership with tourism organisations to make sure our students get the chance to sample some of the fun activities whilst learning along the way! Learning about Auckland as a tourism destination, improving English and communication skills, and developing team and leadership skills that will be essential in the working world.
